Check out BVI's prayer requests and praise reports
Our purpose is: To help people effectively communicate the Bible using illustrated lessons, stories, and songs, which are both flexible and interactive. To provide Christians worldwide with resources in their own language. To help both children and adults come to salvation, learn basic doctrine, grow in Christ, and have a missions focus.
Our flashcard publications have been used in Sunday school, children’s church, home school, Bible clubs, and many other venues and are available in over 65 languages and in both small and large group formats.
BVI is planning to reprint Secret in the Woods this year as our stock has dipped very low (under 50). The reprint will include several full color illustrations left out of the last reprint and will have a sturdy wire-o binding. One of our main ministry partners (Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania) will be using this book in their curriculum cycle later this year. So far, we have very little funds to cover the almost $4000 cost to reprint. If we run out of stock now, we will have to switch this title over to our Print-on-Demand format which is printed individually here in the office on high quality paper, but is not as durable as the professional printing.
As a prayer partner, please pray that we can quickly reprint this title in the professional format for the sake of our ministry partners who need quality print materials. For more details on the projects, please click here.
We had a great turn out for our recent Quarterly Prayer Fellowship here at the BVI office. Since many of your live far away, we want to pass on some praises and prayer requests shared at the event. If you'd like a printable format, click the link here.

Praise the Lord for the progress being made on translating our Visualized Bible Series into Mongolian. The Intro Volume was completed (and in print!) earlier this year. The translator, Daniel E., reports that he has sent NT Volume 1 The Eternal God to his printer, and that NT Volume 2 Satan, the Enemy of God is almost ready to print. Now work has begun on NT Volume 3 The Saviour.
Please pray for wisdom, safety, and funding for Daniel and his team as they continue to work on this project, and that these wonderful teaching materials will reach many children in that area of the world for the Lord.
Pray for our board meeting tonight that God will give safety to those traveling here and back. Pray also for wisdom as the board seeks direction for the ministry.
We received word from our translator, Daniel E, that work has been completed on translating the first NT Visualized Bible Volume into Mongolian, and that it is now in print.
A copy of this is being mailed to our office, and we are also awaiting the transmission of the translated text from Mr E. He has requested files so that work can begin on the second volume, NT01, The Eternal God.
Please pray for Mr E. and his family as they recently a child to cancer.
Please pray for the BVI Board of Directors as they meet on Thursday.
Please pray for BVI's IT Technician, Mark, as he installs the upgrade for our bookkeeping software this weekend, starting on Friday.
Ask the Lord that the changeover will go smoothly, and that we will not need to delay processing orders and donations next week.
Please pray for Mark (BVI's IT technician) Bowser and his family.
Mark's dad had another heart attack Saturday at 1:00 AM. They found a blockage inside one of his stents from his previous heart attack in 2007. We don't know what damage this caused. But I was told he is doing ok. We have not even been in to see him yet. He was in no shape for family. He will be in the hospital at least through Tuesday. They don't know yet what damage it caused.
