The True Colors Project was initiated in 2003, with the goal to enhance the effectiveness of BVI's publications through adding full color and improved teaching resources. This is a major undertaking as there are over 3,000 illustrations in 78 Visualized Bible volumes, 32 stories and 22 hymns. The original line art for each title has been scanned so that it can be updated using the computer ("going digital"). The corresponding teaching material has been typeset and is various stages of editing: having additional corresponding resources such as review questions, student activities and keyword sheets developed. By going digital, it has been made possible to release almost all of our materials, whether in print or even colorized in a PowerPoint presentation format which can be purchased or downloaded directly from our web store.

Project status: Since 2003, $500,927 has been given towards this project, enabling us to colorize and print 45 visualized stories, hymns and Bible lessons, as well as to develop, illustrate and print four brand new publications. Currently there are 13 Visualized Bible volumes, 11 stories and two hymns out of print which we would love to see colorized and printed: NT Visualized Bible Volume 13 The Resurrection and Volume 43 God The Trinity are awaiting funding to be printed.
