How Can YOU be a VIP?

Attend BVI’s Quarterly Prayer Fellowship (QPF) the last Friday morning of each January, April, July and October. Occasionally dates change due to weather/schedules so contact the office ahead of time to confirm dates. Location: BVI Office, Akron, PA.

Prepare Teaching Materials

Participate in BVI’s Summer Internship Program (SIP).

Objective:

1. To give opportunities for area young people to be involved in a ministry that impacts boys and girls around the world, starting in the local area.

2. To assist BVI staff in support projects.

Q & A:

Who can be a BVI Intern?
Mature high school and college students. BVI reserves the right to accept or reject applications.

How do I go about getting accepted into SIP?
Contact the BVI Ministry Department for an application. Complete and return application to BVI.

Do I need to have any training or experience?
Familiarity with a computer is a plus, but no specific experience is needed. We do ask for a teachable spirit and a servant attitude.

How long is the Internship Program?
Positions are available on a two-week, four-week or one to two days/week basis during regular office hours of 9-5.

Is this a paid position?
No, this is strictly a volunteer position.

Will room/board be provided?
Interns must live in the area or be willing to make their own travel, lodging and food arrangements.

Will I learn new things?
Yes. You can gain experience in interpersonal relations, team work, following directions, taking ownership of assignments, following through on projects, computer skills.
